Suresh brings rare blend of international expertise and passion working from London and Sydney helping companies transform existing and future product lines into an Internet of Things (IOT) ecosystem. Today, his primary focus is accelerating global business to business opportunities for IOT from vision to reality. He is a practitioner with first hand experience in developing IOT products and services from concept including patent protection as well as taking smart fitness equipment, retail and hospital beacon way finding applications, consumer set top boxes and hospitality products to the global marketplace. Furthermore, his superior knowledge of social media globally helps IOT developers expand sales and achieve product innovations through combining IOT with social media platforms and information(big data).

A past consultant and social media/IOT researcher with the Advanced Analytics Institute, University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Suresh conducts popular workshops on “Architecting the Internet of Things” and Transforming Instagram data into Internet of Things”. In this role, he successfully project managed several big data projects including human behaviour predictive analytics dashboards and developed the strategic roadmap for NSW Government procurement providing key insights and unlocking hidden value relating to big data (100+ agencies and 50 million+ transactions) resulting in billion dollar savings.  

Based on previous roles including Senior Vice President Business Development with Reuters, Suresh continuously helps shape and influence new markets and opportunities at scale by writing numerous thought leadership articles and presenting at Australasian and global conferences. Suresh holds a BSC (Hons) in Physics from London University and an MBA from UTS. Suresh earned his doctorate from UTS studying big data from popular online social networks and developing software uncovering patterns of consumer lived experiences  with iconic brands.
